Carr's (CARR.L), the Agriculture and Engineering Group, today announces that with effect from 31 July 2024, Fiona Rodford has become the Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Fiona has also been appointed Board Representative for Employee Engagement.

Fiona joined the Board on 20 February 2024 and is also a member of the Nomination Committee.  Fiona has many years' experience as a Chief People Officer working within large global businesses.  She is currently Deputy Chair of Pilotlight, a member of the Remuneration Committee of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Council) and is Non-Executive Chair of Zenova Group plc, having previously served as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of its Remuneration Committee.  

As previously announced, Fiona succeeds Ian Wood, who has been Chair of the Remuneration Committee since 2017 and has been the Board's Representative for Employee Engagement since 2021.  Ian will step down from the Board and the Board Committees and retire from Carr's from the close of the Company's Board meeting scheduled to take place on 8 October 2024.

There is no additional information required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to the above changes.
