Carr's (CARR.L), the Agriculture and Engineering Group, today announces that Fiona Rodford will be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and will join the Board on 20 February 2024, following the Company's Annual General Meeting.
Fiona brings many years' experience as a Chief People Officer working within large global businesses, including BAA, Alliance & Leicester, Thomas Cook and Booker. She now works alongside Boards and CEOs helping diagnose business strategy requirements and assisting in their delivery. Fiona is currently Deputy Chair of Pilotlight, a member of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Council), Vice Chair of Zenova Group plc and head of its Remuneration Committee and, until recently, she was a Board member and Nomination Committee member of KidsOut.
Upon appointment, Fiona will serve as a member of the Board's Nomination and Remuneration Committees.
